Promise Resource Network (PRN) is honored to have secured the license to host and produce the "second" This Is My Brave (TIMB) performance in North Carolina. While productions have been occurring all over the country and abroad, creating a social movement to end mental health stigma and celebrate lived recovery. By popular demand, PRN is presenting a second show of storytelling and creative expression. The heart and power of this evening have made This Is My Brave® the leading platform for individuals with lived experience to share their stories of living successful lives despite a diagnosis of a mental illness. The show's success has been featured by The Oprah Magazine and The Washington Post, to name a few highlights. As the leading organization and Charlotte-Mecklenburg community partner for peer-driven mental health recovery, TIMB is a perfect collaborating partner for sharing this incredibly relevant message and awareness.

Like TIMB, Promise Resource Network is a champion of fostering social change. PRN is playing an integral role in the shift toward a recovery-oriented system of care that is replacing the more traditional illness-based mental health and substance use system. Instead of perpetuating dependency and low expectations, PRN inspires hope and serves as a catalyst for personal greatness. Advocacy efforts in conjunction with supports, education and opportunities are connecting people to recovery supports while reducing the barriers of shame and discrimination.

Your support is invaluable in elevating the mental health conversation here in our own communities.
